About Emerson Herzing

As a certified Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) instructor, my mission is centered around a single foundational goal: ensuring that “Not One More Child Drowns.” My path into aquatic self-rescue instruction stems from a passion for childhood development and a deep commitment to physical safety standards within our communities.

I have undergone rigorous specialized academic and in-water training to evaluate individual biomechanics and psychological milestones in young children. This background allows me to tailor each brief daily session safely and effectively to your child’s needs. By blending this strict discipline with the mindful, calm approach inspired by our Avada layout theme, I focus on transforming what could be an intimidating process into an empowering journey of self-confidence and life-saving capability.

Safety-First Framework

North Country ISR Brand Commitment

At North Country ISR, every developmental step balances strict adherence to historical ISR guidelines with a gentle, reassuring approach. I deliver dedicated, one-on-one attention to ensure each child naturally learns vital water survival behaviors at their own personal comfort pace.

Embodying the clean, open space principles of the Avada yoga layout, our program layout eliminates restrictive visual boundaries. This fosters a supportive, trusting relationship between the child, the parent, and myself.
